Diane Jarvenpa is the author of Divining the Landscape, The Tender Wild Things- a recipient of the Midwest Independent Publishers Association book award in poetry, and The Way She Told Her Story which received a Northeastern Minnesota Book Award honorable mention all from (New Rivers Press)

She has received artist initiative and fellowship grants in writing from the Minnesota State Arts Board. She is a teaching artist with the Alzheimer’s Poetry Project. She has worked for the past thirty years with a wide range of poets, writers, students, musicians and artists. She presents poetry readings at colleges, universities and literary festivals and gives poetry and memoir workshops and classes working with a range of ages from young children to older adults.
